The MPQ8645 is a fully integrated, high-frequency, synchronous buck converter. The MPQ8645 offers a very compact solution that achieves up to 30A of output current (I_OUT), with excellent load and line regulation across a wide inputsupply range. The MPQ8645 operates at high efficiency across a wide I_OUT load range.

The MPQ8645 adopts an internally compensated constant-on-time (COT) control mode that provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. The switching frequency (f_SW) is 800kHz and remains constant regardless of the input and output voltages. An open-drain power good (PG) signal indicates whether the output is within its nominal voltage range.

Fully integrated protection features include over-current protection (OCP), over-voltage protection (OVP), under-voltage protection (UVP), and over-temperature protection (OTP).

The MPQ8645 requires a minimal number of readily available, standard external components, and is available in a TQFN-25 (4mmx5mm) package.
