The ADCA3992 is a high gain, power doubler hybrid amplifieroptimized for a wide range of bias conditions for powerefficiency and customer flexibility. The ADCA3992 is ideallysuited for use in digital predistortion (DPD) node designs formaximum power savings. The device achieves extremely highRF output, up to 76.8 dBmV composite power, or 67 dBmVvirtual level, using a gallium arsenide (GaAs) pseudomorphichigh electron mobility transistor (pHEMT) die in combinationwith a gallium nitride (GaN) HEMT die. The dc current andsupply voltage can be adjusted externally for optimum distortionperformance vs. power consumption over a range of outputlevels. The ADCA3992 is packaged in the industry-standardSOT115J package.
