The TMI6402 is an over voltage and over current protector. Input withstand voltage is up to 38V. It has 6.6V typical OVP threshold and 100ns fast OVP response time. The OCP threshold is larger than 1.7A for the application with 1.2A output current. The TMI6402 also include output short protection and thermal shutdown function protect the device against over current and high junction temperature. 

TMI6402 is available in a space saving DFN2x2-8 package.
