TMI5810 is a synchronous 4-switch buck-boost controller with integrated charging and discharging bi-directional output control. The TMI5810 has a wide input and output voltage range. It can support 2.8V to 30V input range and 2V to 30V output range applications. TMI5810 controls the direction of bidirectional output through DIR pin. Force PWM Operation in the forward charging mode. It can manage the charging effectively no matter the input / output voltage is higher, lower or equal to the battery voltage. Light load PFM operation in reverse discharge mode. When it needs to discharge from the battery, TMI5810 can obtain the required output from the battery. The driver voltage is set to 6V to achieve maximum efficiency with external MOSFET.
